this is where the admins come to meet and plan things that will eventually make the site better. whether it be ideas that you as a member have presented us or some of our own, any further planning will be done here. anything the admins or mods need will be found within this board.

once you have read through the rules and picked your canon character here is you next pit stop. fill out the application making sure to put your characters last name first, followed by their middle name then first name. ex. MALFOY, hyperion scorpius please make sure it looks like that or your application will be ignored. it takes at least two admin approvals before one can be accepted.

here is where you can register for all the perks once your character has been accepted. such things as claiming your character and celebrity, the prefect positions, quidditch positons, professor positions and much much more. however since this is Hogwarts, there will be no registry for such things as cell phones, laptops, aim's or anything electronic as these sort of devices wouldn't work here.

this board is where you get the chance to make a life for your character. whether you wish to whore them out, keep track of their threads start them a journal or even a keep sake box. this is where that is kept. don't worry though your characters journal is strictly off limits to everyone else unless you give them permission to post in it. any information in the journals are also off limits to any one who the journal doesn't belong too so the things said can't be mentioned randomly in a thread.

one of the most busiest floors here in the castle, the ground floor is the come and go area that leads to everything. from the main entrance that leads out into the courtyard or takes you into the grand entrance. head from there to the great hall for your meals or head up the grand staircase and take one of the one hundred and fourty two staircases.

upon the first floor is where any student or professor can find their muggle studies and history magic classrooms along with the head of Gryffindor's office. one of the less busier floors though easiest to get caught on after hours, be sure to avoid if you want to escape getting attention.

Sub-boards: HISTORY OF MAGIC CLASSROOM, DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS CLASSROOM

more commonly used then the first floor upon this floor is where students will find their defence against the dark arts classroom, along with the professor's office. though one might be advised to stay away from the bathroom upon this floor unless you wish to be visited by Moaning Myrtle. a ghost who died when the chamber of secrets was first open back in the founders era.

for those looking for a bit more adventure in the castle perhaps this floor is for you. though not common knowledge upon this floor is a hidden passageway that takes one to honeydukes in Hogsmeade. down the charms corridor is conveniently the charms classroom along with the professors office. come here to see if your parents made their mark in history at Hogwarts in the trophy room or armor gallery.

usually busy with Ravenclaws this floor houses the schools library. possibly one of the largest libraries around, supplied with a restricted section that one can only obtain access to with a note from a Professor. down another corridor is where those who are injured will come to visit the schools nurse in the hospital wing. along a narrow corridor is an empty classroom which tends to gather dust but use to hold the Mirror of Erised.

also another floor that one would find it easy to get caught upon after hours. with the prefects bathroom located on this floor, it is usually loitering with prefects. visit the statue of gregory the smarmy, known as the place where Fred and George Weasley created a magical swamp before they left Hogwarts for good. also upon this floor is the statue of bewildered, which is the quickest route to the Gryffindor Tower or take the narrow staircase down to the fourth floor.

here is where most students escape too when they are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the above floor. since it is so high up the view that it supplies is beautiful and is the perfect place to get away too. though a bit tricky to escape from when out after curfew, as most find themselves hiding in a boys loo until they believe the coast is clear.

unknown to majority of students, unless stumbled upon by accident this floors holds one of the most amazing rooms. the room of requirement otherwise known as the come and go room, supplies one with anything they might need. except for food of course. since it is so hard to find, especially after one has entered it, it is often one of the top places to hide for those that know how to find it. near the end of this floor is an entrance to the divination tower for the days when it gets too cold to go outdoors.

viewable from all over the school grounds the towers are not only home to a few classrooms but also hold a couple of common rooms. of course entrance to such rooms can't be gained unless you know the password. one will also find the clock tower along with the owlry, which houses all of the schools owls. both the ones that students bring and the ones that stay at Hogwarts permanently.

tapping just the right brick in the wall behind the Leaky Cauldron in London will reveal an archway that leads to a long cobbled street where is to be found a strange and exciting assortment of shops and restaurants. otherwise known as Diagon Alley, a place where wizards and witches students can come to purchase their every day needs for the wizarding schools that they will be attending.

the Ministry of Magic is located in the heart of London although the actual structure is all underground, with magical windows that show whatever weather Magical Maintenance has chosen for the day, from bright sunshine to hurricanes. the visitors entrance to the Ministry of Magic is a broken-down red telephone box located on a dingy street which has several shabby offices, a pub, and a wall covered with graffitti. when the telephone in the box is dialed with the correct numbers the welcome witch's voice answers, not from the phone but from the air as if the person is standing right there. visitors must state their business, upon which a silver badge pops out with the visitor's name and purpose of visit before the telephone box drops down like a lift for about one minute, after which the visitor is in the Atrium.

founded in late 1500s or early 1600s by mungo Bonham, st. mungo's hospital is the wizarding hospital located in the heart of Muggle London, England. Patients go to St. Mungo's for a wide variety of reasons, ranging from common illnesses like dragon pox to more complicated ailments like spell damage and werewolf bites. Like all aspects of the wizarding world, St. Mungo's is hidden in plain site, disguised as a dilapidated, red-brick department store that muggles see but largely ignore. Wizards or witches who are unable to reach St. Mungo's by magical transportation can enter through Purge and Dowse, Ltd. To Muggles, Purge and Dowse Ltd. is nothing more than a rundown, old-fashioned department store that is always closed for refurbishment. By leaning in and talking to one of the unsightly dummies, patients and visitors can gain access to the hospital, stepping directly through the magical store front and into St. Mungo's reception area.

located in south-central Britain, west of London. Wiltshire is the starting point of West Country. there are nine white chalk horses carved into hillsides of the town.

though a muggle village, godric's hollow has a storied wizarding history. for over a thousand years it has been home to notable wizards and witches, and has been most famous as the birthplace of hogwarts founder godric gryffindor. located in the west country of southwestern england, it in the heart of perhaps the most wizarding-friendly region in britain.

a small town along the River Otter in Devon, near Exeter. it too is also a muggle village but has historically been a large settlement for wizarding families. with a large hill called Stoatshead Hill, that seems to be littered with a view pieces of trash from the muggle children no doubt.

Sub-board: THE BURROW

located in Surrey, Little Whinging is a small quiet suburb where the houses are large and square. they aren't use to seeing things out of the ordinary like Owl's bringing post on Sunday. over the years many wizards have come here to see the place where Harry Potter once lived.

located in Cornwall, Tinworth is a small and pleasant muggle village. it has been a place where wizarding families have congregated for several years.

though these threads won't have any affect on your characters present life, future threads are always fun to have. to see how your character may react to certain things or even just to see how something may play out.
